Private tutor in Durham, NH

Education

I currently attend the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. I am a Communication Sciences and Disorders major (speech pathology), and an American Sign Language minor. My current gpa is about at 3.2 and I am a Junior.

Experience

I love my major, and understand it pretty well, so I want to be a tutor to help other people who are confused or need help understanding the material. I keep all my notes, so I will be able to help with organization skills and notes. I have taken many classes in language acquisition, basic audiology, american sign language, D/deaf studies and pathologies concerning speech production such as TBI (traumatic brain injuries). I love learning new things and I get really excited about my major, so it would be fun for me to tutor someone in these classes. I am very frienly, love meeting new people, and I love helping others which is why I'd love to be a tutor!

Hobbies

I love school, reading, and learning about Speech Pathology. I'm lucky I have already found something I love doing so early in life. I'm currently an RA (resident assistant) in the dorm I live in, which is great for building a community, meeting people and getting involved. I love playing the guitar, singing, playing piano, skiing, swimming, hiking, and I love being outside!
